HD Drone Photography captured the full resurfacing of the A391 near St Austell for Miles Macadam, Cornwall Council, and Cormac. Spanning 3km, this key project featured Milepave™ and Hardipave™ surfaces, tandem paving, and thermal imaging to document road and vehicle temperatures. Our aerial footage highlights each stage - from preparation to final line marking - showcasing innovation in UK road infrastructure.

In April, we used the DJI Matrice 30T drone to capture 1,476 photos of the Duke of Cornwall Masonic Lodge roof, creating a precise 3D model with WebODM. This tech helped us safely measure the aging roof’s size and height without walking on it. Operating in Newquay Airport’s flight restriction zone required prior permission and coordination with air traffic. Technology made the job safer and easier!
